A Southern Salute To The Troops

7 Days for the Troops, a Purple Heart Homes Chapter, will be hosting a special inaugural event to honor and support our brave Veterans. This event will present the opportunity to bring awareness to what Purple Heart Homes and 7 Days for the Troops stands for, as well as the Veterans' lives they hope to enrich.

Who: The guest speaker in attendance will be Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth. Pete served as an infantry Officer in the Army National Guard. Serving in Afghanistan, Iraq and Guantanamo Bay. He holds two Bronze Stars and a Combat Infantryman Badge for his time in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hegseth also held the position of CEO for Concerned Veterans of America – a Veterans advocacy organization.

When: There will be a VIP cocktail hour from 5 to 6 p.m. as well as early entry and preferred seating for VIP ticket holders. General ticket holders will enter shortly after, with dinner at 6 p.m. followed by guest speaker Pete Hegseth.
